The Nations League final is a good game. I'm trying to think of a player in world football who is more universally disliked than Marc Cucurella and I'm struggling to think of one; no matter what shirt he's wearing, it seems like every time he plays he's loudly booed by the opposing fans.

Nuno Mendes is such a special player. Scored a belter, set up the second, and has kept the most exciting young player in the world pretty quiet all game.

I've only just had a look at it. From what I've seen I'm surprised at how structured and disconnected the Spanish are. They seem to be set up to be nowhere near each other when they are on the ball. Very un-Spanish.

Happy to see Portugal win it in the end. Mendes and Leao were the best players on the pitch.

This Belgium Wales game is pretty entertaining. Sels has given a penalty away.

Probably a good thing that Sels gets to lie on a beach for a bit after this, rather than having to get his head right for us.

    Bung at half time?

In amongst the madness, Sorba Thomas has been fantastic in this match.

He was supposed to be Huddersfield's danger man in the play-off final but didn't really turn up. Just signed for Stoke, I think.

Yep. Looked like a PL player in-waiting in "that" season. Clearly I should not be employed as a Scout.

Very talented, but apparently has an absolutely atrocious attitude.

MGW on front of program I'm told. But still doesn't start.

Hoping to hear big chants of Thomas Tuchel what a wanker.

You’d think. But it will be Keir Starmer who’s the wanker and the mongs will be singing the hearts out for Tommy Robinson who’s currently sunning himself on their dime in the Bahamas. Delightful.
