Jack Lester in the Welsh coaching team.
Uh, what?
The flag thing is stupid - flags are flags, the cross is red, the background is white, if it's anything other than that it's not the Cross of St George it's just a cross - but 125 quid for a football shirt? That's madness.
How is the 'Stadium' version worth £40 less? What exactly is the difference?
I'm not buying at£125, nor £85. I'm not buying the Forest shirt at 50% off at £37.50 either. A t-shirt is £20 tops, and I don't see that changing in my lifetime.
Just been on the socials and seen how snowflakey all the gammons are being about the St George is Cross.
I'm all in favour. If anything, it needs more rainbow.
Are they getting hot under the...
never mind.
I'm not offended by it at all, but it's kinda stupid. Flags are the colour they are.
"Look, we stylized the English flag by inverting the colours!" No you didn't, that's Switzerland.
"OK, we stylized it by making it blue and yellow!" Nope, you invented Sweden.
A national flag is what it is. You can't change it and have it still be the national flag, if you change the colours it's just a colourful cross.
I agree entirely, but your opinion is trumped entirely by enraged gammons being funny.
I've thought about this, and I have to say that I don't give a toss any way.
Don't care about a cross, what it represents, colors, nothing. All completely irrelevant to my life or experience. Really have absolutely no fucks to give.
Edit: could also appear in 'things I've spent too long thinking about'. Around a nano-second.
I mean… you, russ and tricky are all correct here. It is dumb, pointless, and trolling all the right people. Well played Nike.
You would have thought that the sort of people who really care should be more concerned that the UK is issuing joint global policy statements with Australia. Then again, we know how propaganda works. Funny world.
Good read about the flag furore in the Guardian, if only for the use of the phrase “brocade fondlers”.

I had to google 'brocade'.
I assume everyone knows this word and now that I do as, will no doubt notice it a lot more often from here on in.
Boly subbed injured after 40 minutes.
We may find out tonight whether England really do look more fluid and better at football without the form striker of planet Earth leading the line.
I’m here for the first time since the playoff final
