James looks like a footballer. The only one I can see that can kick the ball properly. Absolutely strolling half arsed through the game, and head and shoulders the best player.

Yeah, agree. She's a proper player.
Tremendously rubbish shootout between England and Sweden.
The Swedish keeper blazing the winning kick miles over a particular highlight.
We were discussing what sort of ordinary standard men's sides could give them a game. We went for over 45's and under 14's. Might have been a bit generous based on the penalties alone.
Not so much a penalty shoot out, more of a back pass / rugby conversion contest.
Bit ridiculous that England have drums and an entire brass section in the ground, Italy have a few megaphones but I can't even take a bottle of water into a Forest game.
What tune were you trying to play on it?
Anyway - possibility of another It's A Knockout comedy shootout here.
The pundits were saying we don’t want another penalty shootout.
Oh yes we do.
Good news - England have a pen to win the game.
Bad news - England have a pen to win the game.
Of course it's saved.
But they score the rebound.
Christ, I wish the men had this regular good fortune.
They would have if they played this level of football.
Chloe Kelly is pure joy.
I really don't get the way we have to talk about women's football. There's a massive discrepancy between the teams, the level of professionalism, and the pools that they get to select from. The greatest achievement is the interest and coverage that is now being achieved, and the levels of grass roots interest that develops. I know, from football friends who coach in the under age groups, how the interest and future pool of players that will develop from that interest. Elite women's football is important and should be supported and encouraged. At the same time, the reality is that the level is currently poor. You don't have to beat many decent teams at the same level to be successful. To draw an equivalence to me doesn't do it any favours. Yes I want to see it covered and lauded. But at the same time we need to acknowledge that it has a long way to go. In ten years it will be a much better game.
Let's face it. The lionesses were crap tonight, have largely been crap all tournament, and are in a final. Crap is good enough at this current level.
No-one's making you. I don't watch it, and barely notice it, but clearly some people want to.
I'm happy to talk about it. There's a subtext to how you are allowed to talk about it, If you are talking about it. When you are not just abusing women athletes. There's little room for support and objectivity.
It's ra-ra-ra, or bad person. No room for nuance.
