It was genuinely tight between Grealish and Morgan starting, because Grealish is playing out of position and is in poorer form and playing less footbl. Lee didn't quite have the balls to go for the better football option out of the better experience. Morgan will get on the pitch though because he fricking loves him.

Lee is demonstrating how you play scintillating international football with Golden Boot and Golden Shoe winner Harry Kane at the apex of your team, in a way Southgate could not in the Euros. And no it doesn't involve him "pressing"....! Who'd've thunked it.
Personally though I'm more interested in assessing whether Kelleher is worth £25M as I suspect that's what we may be handing over in January, and if he's any better than Sels. On the evidence in this game so far, I'm not sure.

I only really watched the last ten minutes of the first half, and the second half....in what looked like a totally unstructured game, with no obvious plans (apart from knock a set piece to the back stick, for the lampost to head back across, deadlegs not making the move he should do to get on the end of that). More worrying than fun from the cotgrave jury.
