I think Max Mosley would win this, didn't he manage to get 3 out of 4?
I can imagine that you would now be gone from the BBC for the most minor of indiscretions.
Like wanking on air?
Is that the Aled Jones one?
The Mirror are suggesting it was to do with an historic relationship going back 10 years.
Must've been with a kid or something to spur the BBC to act so quick?
Guardian article suggests if it was really serious then it would take longer than a few day investigation and that the BBC usually overreact to something after under reacting. (Huw Edwards).
I’m sure all will be revealed soon. .
If it was a kid, they’d say they’d reported him to the police.
Guess so.
In which case I can see the BBC being hammered for over reacting to something and nothing.
I don't listen to his show but Radio 2 breakfast show listeners are a weirdly loyal lot I reckon.
He seemed like a nice bloke on Race Across the World a few years ago.
Aren’t they generally pretty down on recent R1 imports?
Maybe I was largely thinking of Wogan to be honest which is probably a unique case
Did Wogan bum a kid?
I suppose they were all at it…
Mirror reporting he was arrested in 2016 but case dropped through lack of evidence. Alleged offences with a teenage boy in 1997-2000. Seems like he has complained to BBC now.
So it would appear to be noncing, "a teenage boy from 1997 to 2000," so congratulations to RC on being this weeks quiz winner.
With the change in law equalizing the age for bumming with the age for fannying happening in 2000, I thought it might be possible that the boy was 16 at the start and Mills was potentially hard done by ( by the legislation, not the boy) but I did the maths and its not. Scott Mills (allegedly) bummed an under 16, noncing is the correct answer.
