Donny messaged me this morning to let me know his wife passed yesterday. Obviously he is heart broken.

I asked if there was anything I could do and he replied:

"If you can let the talkback people know. I don't post on there anymore. I have been caring for my wife at home but they took her back in hospital as her condition deteriorated beyond my care. I wanted her to end her life at home. However she didn't die alone. My Grandaughter and Grandson were rocks as we're my Sisters from Hull and Nottingham."

That is such sad news. I am really sh*t at knowing what to say in these situations and I do not really know many people on here well, but my thoughts and best wishes are with him and their family/friends.

RIP, Mrs Donny. One consistent theme of Donny's posting has always been his close ties to his family. How awful for him - IIRC, his parents died fairly recently, so this must feel far, far too soon.

Terribly sad news. Best wishes Donny . Hope he is as well as can be expected.

Cancer is the worst. Really sad news. I have a few clients currently battling this and the toll it takes is heart breaking. Donny has always been a miserable sod, but I know he was a dedicated family man and to lose the love of your life I cannot even imagine.
