    I see there's a lot of hoohah and brouhah about someone who has made comments in support of equality.

    I have made comments about the petrochemical conspiracy to maintain revenue streams, to the detriment of the world. Should I stop putting petrol in my car?
    I have expressed disgust and horror about the behaviour of the UK government. Should I leave the country, and not go to all the other countries that I am unhappy with in some regard?

    I am unhappy with the state of the world, am I not allowed to say so? Should I abdicate from the world, and fire myself off into space (without incurring a carbon defecit)?

    What the fuck are people on about with their deeply hypocritical whataboutery? Are people not allowed to live in the actual world, but advocate for a better one?

    America (well, half of it) has lost it’s shit because Bud sent some beer to a trans person to get some Instagram views. This culture war nonsense is huge and about nothing but making people angry so they vote for whichever politician is angry about the same things. Every story about a drag queen or trans person needs to be understood in that context.

    Any relationship between any of it and reality is long departed. It is very horribly fucked and the only thing that gives me hope is that, notwithstanding tricky’s obvious ire at the state of Blighty, I feel that most of the really dangerous stuff (people hating each other, basically) has largely failed to catch on outside of the US.

    Ah yes the whole Dylan Mulvaney drama, I believe she did an advert for a Nike sports bra too which seemed to cause a lot of bad feeling. Keeping everyone fighting amongst themselves and looking the other way as usual.
