JP whilst slumming it on the legacy board has already started a match thread. I thought since being on here whilst trying to make a fist of it will compliment it.
Assuming Brighton twat Evergone, Citeh knob Leeds and Fulham see to Leicester then a win against a schizophrenic Soton team (they have managed two draws against Arsenal) will see us claw closer to safety.
This is the game we really must win and absolutely must not come away without any points. Failure to do see will probably see us dragged down with Southampton.
The South coast team will definitely try and out-Forest Forest by pressing high and trying to hit on the break. Something we need to do to them. We also need to bully them which means Taiwo needs to be in Beast mode and Felipe needs to use some of his Brazilian dark arts. This also might be a game for Cheik Kouyate. Although I would take a fit Yates and Danilo (he might turn up) over him.
To say this will be nail biting will do a disservice to nail biters. An early goal would settle nerves but I sense this will go to the wire. If we can go full press like against Liverpool then I think we will prevail. Don't be fooled, they can score goals. Walcott is deadly if given the chance. They have an Argie who is a bit of a dog botherer too. Not to mention Ward Prowse needs to be kicked everywhere across the park apart from near the penalty box.
The fans need to 100X on board with the team. Cauldron City Ground needs to be at full tilt.
I will be bricking it. The fans will be bricking it. I really hope the team doesn't brick it.
I THINK WIN AND WE ARE IN. I don't want to contemplate the alternative.
