Yep, that's the game I watched. Ndoye was less effective when he moved to the left but he was very good.

I don't like giving MOTM to a sub but Hutchinson made the two goals that got us the win, so he gets it. HMs to Sangare, Ndoye, Milenkovic and Savona.

He was the difference, but important to note that Ndoye and Dominguez's immense workrate had softened up the Leeds defence, and that was ideal for a player like Hutchinson to come on and stretch them.

I'm not convinced we win that game without the triple substitution made at the right time. All three had a really positive impact.

Yes agree with that too, Dominguez worthy of an HM as well. Also thanks to Daniel Farke for the inexplicable decision to bring a midfielder in James Harrison on to play at left back at the same time as he also brought an actual left back on in Pascal Struijk to play as a centre half.

Mention for the ref as well, who I thought was as good as I've seen in a while. Didn't buy the dives from either side, didn't get carried away with bookings for fouls that looked worse than they were, can't argue with any of the cards he did give.

It’s an observation, not a criticism, but we were basically playing 442 until Morato came on. There’s almost no difference between where Morgan is playing now and how Roy or Nigel played in the 90s or 80s.

Also defied my expectation that penalties are always missed when there’s a row over who’s taking it. Think Yates deciding settled them down.

They didn't score with their heads though, eh?
And yes, I wish Morgs would be rather better at shooting.

Missed this, who was trying to take it over Elliott? He scored a pressure penalty for the U21s in the summer I seem to recall - I didn't want anyone else near it.

A great day. A relatively comfortable victory, and then Mr Swallow in Nottm with the family. Nice to see our two centre halves looking like one of the best pairings in the league again. Credit to Hutchinson as well.

The more I see Morgan's goal, the better that ball from Murillo to Hutchinson gets. He was inside his own half on the opposite wing and picked him out perfectly. What a fucking player he is.
