Excellent work, Pantzcat, both in identifying a biscuit that I definitely want to try, but even more than that, by wilfully ignoring Guru's prosaic insistence on discussing the original topic. Discussions on biscuits cannot be tethered to the ground. They must be allowed to fly free.

I've consulted modern AI, and we seem to have a winner in the best 'all-rounder' category.

    allrounder

Now all we really need to work out is whether it's actually a curry.

When it comes to your sweet biscuit, I was a big fan of these as a young ‘un.
    Biscuits

Although I’ll grant as a multi-role biscuit, The digestive takes some beating.

So, is Cheesecake an actual cake? Or just a version of cheese on crushed digestive biscuits? (Albeit sweetened cheese with flavors added) It doesn't go hard when it's left out. (I don't think, they're not something I eat)

    It's a tart.

That's fair.. but it does then make me want to start the whole: What's a pie debate. Does it have to be encased totally in pastry? What about one's in a pot with a puff pastry lid? Or shepherd's pie with no pastry at all.
I hate it when you're eating out, order a nice pie and chips, and it's just in a pot with a pastry lid. That to me's a Hot pot, but Fray Bentos would disagree.
But that's probably a comment more for the "things I spend too long thinking about" thread.

It's what the Americans call a pot pie, which actually makes sense if you think about it.

How can you eat those? Look at her eyes, burning into your soul.

I saw those and did think they brought together a couple of different topics.

They are potato based. Like a thick crisp. And masala flavoured. Can’t believe they are fitting the brief.

If you need to tart up the already near-perfect digestive, dunk it in your coffee. It changes the flavour enough to mean that no other spread based faff will ever be required.

I’ve lurked here on and off off for twenty years. Finally I have something important to contribute.
