FTFY.
Here we go again. The magic of just say something and it will be real.
Liverpoo aren't very good. Yeah i said it. They were there for the taking and we pushed them hard. The ending was just typically Forest. We already had had a scare and were making mental mistakes and what happened at the end just upset me. I think at that point we should have just seen the game out but the goal was so similiar to the Nunez goal that beat us in the 99th minute. Rather than throw it in they gave it to Sbozesli (or however the fuck you spell him) and he did a McCalistair and chipped the ball into the box for the big boys to get a head to it. hIstory suggested Dominquez should have been more aggressive in closing him down. Ortega wasn't to blame. It was just a Forest cock up moment right at the very death which we have done over the years.
We played well but don't have a cutting edge. The subs were brave. They didn't quite work out. Taiwo after scoring a goal out of nothing against Brentford is now nowhere to be seen. Is he any worse than Lucca? I would say he would have really caused the Poo defenders problems because he is so chaotic and hopefully his arse or a deflection would have gone our way. If Hudson had scored that early chance we would have romped it.
It was a good performance but we were undone by concentration. I was so mad after that game that we decided to go to the gun range and shoot guns. I was given a short barreled shotgun to fire (which I later found out was illegal in Illinois but this place had a special license) and it literally brought the range to a screeching halt as it was so loud and violent. I also was taken aback at how powerful it was. Suffice to say I didn't like it. Speaking of Power, how good was Sangare again. I would have him barreling into the box. We need to make opportunities and if it's not going smoothly then fuck it, go all guns blazing aggression in the box. I think Jesus was unlucky with some Taylor decisions and he would have been on goal a couple of times. Unfortunately he is not as clinical as Woody but I think he the best we have right now. Even though I would definitely have Taiwo on too.
Next week is a Brighton side that lost to Palace but crushed Brentford (as did we). It could go either way. If we go for it, then we have a chance.
Liverpool could beat Wet Sham but they seem to be missing something. I think this was an opportunity lost. Bugger bum tit wank as you say but we move on.
It is between us, Wet Sham and Totteringham. With a bit of luck we can make it.
Chicago: Rambling.

Not really, there's a difference.
I have bags of confidence. I'm still far too shit for 'ship level football.
The Taiwo thing is an interesting one. He has been breathtakingly shit but had an incredible moment that was a genuine game changer.
I don't know how Lucca works outside a Dyche team. Is it worth having Big T as the chaos option or does he leave with that last great memory.
I'm a bit more confident than I was a week ago. I think us and West Ham are about the same chance of going down now with Spurs massive outsiders.
Basically, i think our better squad and two point lead is offset by Europe and general air of choas and Nuno's knowhow.

Don't know how that double post happened
If I were a Spurs fan I'd be very worried. They certainly don't feel like massive outsiders to our evens.

Possibly, but it's in their hands to get clear of it. Still got to play us, Palace, Brighton and Wolves. Their run-in, on paper at least, is decent.
Whether their players are up for the fight is another thing. There were clips on the socials last night of Micky van de Ven seemingly ignoring his new manager's instructions from the touchline during the game.
I see it as between us and West Ham and if spurs or anyone else gets sucked in then great.
Our run in is marginally better than West Ham’s and we have a 2 point advantage.
I’d rather be us than them.
Got to St Pancras last night as Spurs fans (who must have gone with 20 minutes left) were on Victoria line.
Laughing at us and saying we were going down, they are not even considering themselves in relegation danger.
I hope they are wrong.
My experience with part time spurs supporters is that they are not necessarily the best objective judges of football.

Let's hope that the organisation and running power that the nasty manager put in them lasts long enough, before being happy and complacent takes over.
Spurs are missing loads of players at the moment. I think their ability is going to depend on how quickly and how many of them get fit again (I have no idea what the prognosis is).

Liverpool are very good but not Excellent + like they were last season. We put on an excellent defensive display for 89 mins. Especially Sangare, Anderson and Williams. Our defense got worse as the game wore on because they all played 90 mins plus on Thurs and as many have said the subs aren't at that level. However I would suggest that all is not lost re the recent signings. Consider who thought Sangare would look world class and outplay Liverpools midfield when we first signed him? not me. I certainly think Spuds are in the mix. Their recent form is worse than ours and Wet Hams. The away game there on March 22nd will be crucial.
I think it's interesting that Spurs manager has tried to force a back three on their squad, that it doesn't suit, while our manager was pragmatic enough to stick to the formation he came into.
