Didn’t see the West Ham game. But they had 20 shots, an xG of about 3 and didn’t score either?

We're going to finish above Tottenham and West Ham

If you're talking about the goal Murillo basically kicked it out of his hands as he was falling on it.

I’ve only seen it on x so I did wonder Murillo’s role. But if he did, that smacks of a lack of communication. Maybe language barrier but really shouldn’t be, I’m not a fan of Ortega yet.

Good with his feet, not convincing under crosses. But Sels is hardly the safest at taking crosses and there’s no contest on the ball.

Ortega is not the problem, the problem is at the other end of the pitch.

Last time a Forest striker scored a home league goal?

Chris Wood v Brentford first game of season. That's relegation right there.

Have we had a special mention for Bakwa yet? How shit was he when he came on?

As been mentioned, tiredness from Thursday probably didn't help the ending, but neither did the contributions of the subs, definitely weakened the overall.

I asked how much we paid for Bakwa.
I think the answer is 35 million euros.

Bakwa looks devoid of any confidence. His first five touches were dreadful. Dominguez ok but wasn’t sure of the wisdom of taking off Anderson. Neither, it seems, was he.

    Ndoye was ok.
Lucca…not exactly sure what he offers.
Mcatee only touched the ball to prevent us getting another corner

Fair summary. Definitely an overall lowering of the collective quality on pitch.

Just shows (broken record alert) how shit our recruitment has been this season.

I think Lucca was signed so Dyche had a target for the hoofed balls onto the box and then didn’t use that tactic for the game he played.

Thought that McAtee cross was going for a corner before he got involved. But then thought it couldn’t have been or there is no way he would have done that……

From the bits I’ve seen, he doesn’t look capable of that anyway.

He appears incapable of jumping, so his height isn't that much of a help.

lots of negativity about yesterday. Understandable in that we lost and aren't very good at scoring goals. But too much blame is being placed on the subs. We were being gradually penned in and starting to look knackered. We started pushing them back at that point. In particular I thought NDoye brought something more controlled to the game. Bakwa looks scared but also had a few moments of directness that I liked and Dominguez did his running around and really should have scored.
We have players that have been brought in and need some confidence. Ive even seen Hutchinson getting slagged off and yet he seems to be a real star in the making. Is this just BAU?
