I expected as much before hand (if you don't believe me, check this thread, I said so). We can get away with five at the back occasionally as a change up (against the right team)...but if we have anything but our top midfield, I don't think we can afford to cede a body in midfield, and any formation that moves MGW away from the middle of the park, or gives him extra defensive duties, is by definition wank.

I think it started off like that but they realised that Milenkovic isn’t mobile enough to play as one of the outside centre backs. He’s been the middle one for at least the last couple of games.

Not making any kind of suggestion, but Andy O is a reasonably mobile right-footed centre back. More mobile than Boly anyway.
