Friday under the lights at the Crisp Bowl. Agent Cooper in charge. The low block against our medium block. Is MGW injured? Is JWP playing? Is Elanga benched?

I would like Elanga and Cho to play again with Anderson, MGW and Yates. I think JWP will get the shout though and Antony will be benched. Would be lovely if we went for it and Wood keeps getting his goals. He is a former crisp packer so he does like to score against his previous teams.

Hopefully the Forest faithful sing the Stevie Cooper song and we run out 2-0 with Wood and CHO doing what Wood and CHO do. I actually think this will be the game that Coops will want to go for it which will play right into our hands. Win and we are fifth. Lose and we are meh.

It's a game I think the boys will be up for. I also think someone needs to kick Elanga up the arse and get him back firing. Unless his mind is already on a transfer to Newcastle just as Isak buggers off to Arsenal.

Anyway, concentrating on the Fester/Tax cheats/money dodging cunts and we can kick 'em where it hurts right up their entitled fans tiny arses.

    Chicago: Hype Machine!

Didn't MGW get a 2 game ban? Thought I'd read somewhere that he'd had the ban extended.
JWP for Dominguez for me and the rest stays the same.

His extra game was last night wasn't it?

They are shit from what I've seen so far, we've been very effective away from home, therefore I'm completely shitting it because well Forest.

I went last time and we got battered 4-0, I'm hoping this time is a slightly more flattering result

I didn't realise Wood was ex Leicester. Even after reading it above by Chicago I just presumed it was his weird brain spewing forth misinformation. But I've checked, and he did.

JWP for Dominguez for me too. I might chuck Jota in for Elanga too but I doubt Nuno will.

I hope that, even if we're losing, the away fans chant Steve Cooper's name relentlessly to wind up the Leicester fans. The main aim from the game, after getting some points, is to draw a wave out of Cooper. It'll drive their fans mad.

Emily Anderson mentioned on Forest Focus we hadn't won there for 10 years. Checked and, while it's true (9th November 2013), we've played there once in that time.

He got one game for the second yellow at Brighton and so missed the home loss to Fulham. Back for Chelsea and got injured then got his ban extended.

So, he'd have missed last night if he was fit. But if recovered he'd be available for Friday night.

I had a brief argument with a national football reporter on the Twatter a few months back after he'd written an article about 'Forest's first Premier League XX result in a quarter of a century', etc.

I pointed out that was a meaningless stat because, while factually correct, we'd not been competing at the level for 23 out of the 25 years he'd referenced so unable to effect that situation. He disagreed.

As average as Elanga was last night, I'm pretty confident he'll destroy Leicester's left back, assuming its their regular Danish guy.

They are so fucking special that they will chant Coopers name thinking that will wind us up. And when we inevitably chant his name they will just melt.

Cooper won’t wave, in fact I expect him to perhaps overdo the how much he is loving it at Leicester and how great their fans are (lol) before the game.

I'm surprised they aren't planning one of those melted plastic tifos again

Depends what they are talking about but that sort of thing can add context (first premier league home game in 23 years etc). Not everyone in their audience knows much about the club's history.

Similarly, I think it would be pretty churlish to begrudge Chris Wood his headlines if/when he becomes our highest premier league scorer (especially when he's taking the record off Roy) by pointing out that he's not broken into the top 30 of top division scorers: www.worldfootball.net/alltime_goalgetter/eng-premier-league/tore/nottingham-forest/1/

I am also in the JWP for Dominguez camp. Partly because he will be knackered and partly because he was really lucky not to get carded in the first half. And even if MGW is nearing fitness, I would still start Anderson, who is my new Shiny Pannini sticker option. Did more than enough to suggest MGW can take a bit more recovery time unless absolutely needed. Skillful, has vision and a bit of the cunt about him.

I think you will find I am very rarely wrong about anything...apart from Ken Bates of course but that was a metaphor so hey ho...

And I am weird? Jim have a word with yourself...

    Chicago: Football man.

  • 22 Oct 2024, 5 p.m.

that. I think that you will find that I am rarely wrong in regard to anything.

Which reminds me. You are an idiot - if you don't know how very many things that you are wrong about. We all are.

The original statement remained unflagged by even the strictest academic grammar checker I could find (on short notice). Top pedantry.

  • 22 Oct 2024, 6:07 p.m.

Oh fuck off you Myopic Turnip. I am clearly making fun of myself without you joining in. Although my point about Jim stands. He is as mad as a hairbrush.

Anyway 2-0 to the boys in Red.

    Chicago: Misunderstood.

Edit. MGW served a ban against Fulham and Palarse so is eligible to play against Fester. Assuming he is fit to do so.

Eliott Anderson is this season's Cole Palmer: looks like an overpriced high potential PSR fixer, but turns out to be astonishing value. Prove me right, Ando.
