I was talking to a Palace fan last week and he doesn't think they'll have any interest, the expectation for a while has been that the current assistant manager is the heir apparent.

This isn't paywalled for me and seems like Percy pushing the club's line: www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2023/12/19/steve-cooper-sacked-nottingham-forest-manager-marinakis/
I’m really not convinced the players love Cooper as much as some think.
And I’m not just talking about Worrall
I’m sure Taylor and Taylor are frantically typing out Coopers line
Seems pretty thin on detail as well. I'm sure more will come out in due course. The throwaway line about Randall and Owen seemed odd to me, how does a manager marginalise board members?
Paywalled for me. Any snippets of note?
Confirmed. He has gone.
Interesting reply, I guess it could be read two ways.
More fulsome statement on the OS.
A sad day, but feels somewhat inevitable. I hope it works out.

I never get twitter links. I followed this and it was some guy called barstoolchief saying he'd wished samba had never left. I doubt that is what you linked.
Samba’s tweet is two little emojis just above that reply - a handclap and a love heart.
Like anyone gives a shit
(No I can’t believe I clicked it either)

In response to the Cooper announcement tweet. Not sure if it's Brice saying "love you Cooper" or "love that you've been fired".

Ah OK. I did scroll up but never went down your second route.

Wasn't really thinking of love or otherwise of Cooper.
Just don't think there's a team there with players we have, especially with no striker, that is competitive.
So we will go behind and the full force of the old days toxic crowd will start and the players won't be arsed.
