Agreed. Kulusevski is a beast.
Agreed. Kulusevski is a beast.
Moreno had a shocker v Everton so not surprised at all.
Presume it’s tactical for CHO
Guessing Aina is out for Sunday and he wants to give Toff some minutes. (Or he’s back and he’s checking who he wants at left back).
We don’t know whether CHO is fully fit. Moreno didn’t have a great game vs Everton (not that he was alone in that) & in any case is a better attacking full-/wing-back than defending - Toff the opposite.
I suspect he might be trying to counteract the midfield thing by playing a nominal 4-4-1-1 (Elanga behind Woody), but with the flex to allow Neco to interject in midfield (i.e. Toff sometimes one of 3 at the back - Nuno has used him this way before).
But that’s all conjecture. I trust that Nuno has a coherent plan, cos he always does. Whether we can carry it out remains to be seen.
And Brennan is on the bench to start with anyway.
Where's Jota? Not on bench.
Spurs fans here in the stadium are extremely happy with their side. And how can a side with a bench like that be in 16th???
Surprised Yates isn't starting, especially with him suspended for Sunday
Looks a strange line up. I thought he would change it up. Forgot about Barry. He was great against Brighton but rubbish since. Toffs can't be worse than Moreno in the last game can he?
This is making me a tad flushed in the face but I won't be able to watch live anyway so I guess I will just have to block a few over enthusiastic clients and friends trying to me tell me what's happening.
Hopefully we can do the double but Spuds generally are difficult against us. Maybe Toffs can kick Kulechevski.
All the coverage is on Tottenham and not us. Might play into our hands...
Chicago: Hoping for a reaction.
This looks like a setup where we can make changes for the positive....rather than guaranteed weakening us. Looks like we will sit in first half....but keeping the flying machines ready to pounce.
Often a bit of a change up is a good thing at this point in the season. Only time will tell if it works....to a large part it's likely influenced by injury/condition: Aina, CHO, Jota's eyebrows, etc..
Oh Elanga what a shit cornWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!
Fuck, that's off
Feet onside, but shoulder offside. Would've been onside if he hadn't leant forward.
DISALLOW THAT ONE YOU FUCKERS!
Wouyldn't have got there, if his weight wasn't forward...needed to start half a yard back.
Wootage!
We are a bit sloppy in the structure and distances so far today. Spurts, despite having some impressive individuals, are not really exploiting it though....yet.
Danilo is doing good things defensively and providing a consistent outlet for defenders under pressure, but he's so careless with his passing.
