Well basically all today's results went against us... Or did they? If we win Monday night against Angsty Ange and the Forest Rejects (another possible match thead?) then we go back to 3rd.

Villa look good but they have to play plastic Manc dirty cheaty should be relegated where's the fucking verdict Citeh on Tuesday. I would laugh my tits off if they make the top five then get sent to the shallows. Ain't happening but it should...

Don't be fooled our race isn't just against Cheatski and Villa it is also against the Geordie twats and Petro dope fiends.

So onto Monday. Spuds are without Son (good news for handsome Alex) and probably Maddison. Unfortunately Van de speedy is playing for them and I hope (no offence) that he pulls a hamstring trying to catch Elanga.

This could go either way. We get twatted or we thrash them as they constantly get caught on a Djed Spence smoke break. And Jonno desperate to come back to the comfy confines of TWFCG scores an own goal. so 0-3 or 3-0. I would settle for a 1-0 but have a feeling it might be a bit of a mental game.

Forest win and we go third. Jim unclenches his arse and Guru gets back on the calculator.

I think Woody will score. Don't care how he does it.. (might be a penalty). Score first and the Spuds are toast. They do, then it will be a grind... I think Nuno might throw a selection spanner in the works too... (Sosa?)

    Either way...Europe here we come!!!!

    CHO CHO! (Geddit).

He's not that guy. It will be as much the starting eleven as he can pick, albeit with the normal rotation in midfield. He might make them to stand in different places, and make different runs though.

I’m going but as a guest of a Spurs season ticket holder. I’m not sure what that means…

Impossible to predict before the line ups are announced. And then it will still be an absolute guess, obviously. The only safe prediction I can make is that I will just about have recovered from tonight's wine as Mrs Rave and I are celebrating 18 years together. There's a Happy Eater joke here somewhere...

<referring to the steak dinner, obviously>

On our part, we're expecting pretty much full strength bar Aina right?

    Ended in 1996, apparently. Crikey.

We can definitely win this. I think we will get something out of the game.

    As ever, first goal pivotal.

I only ever went into one of those.

A34 eastbound, just before the M40, since you ask. Halcyon days.

I think we need 9 points from our remaining games for CL and prob 4/5 for Europa?
If we lose today, it’s not a disaster although our momentum will have ground to a halt.

Toffolo in at left back, midfield of Anderson, Danilo, Dominguez, MGW and Elanga.

BJ on the bench for them, Djed starts.

Interesting side. Spurs have gone strong.

Funny. I looked at the spurs side and thought it looked weak without Johnson, Solanke, Madison and Son……

    Busy midfield. Our Achilles heel.
Bentancur, Sarr, Kulusevski always cause us trouble. They are Strong at the back.

    Don’t fancy Kulu v Toff…

I don't understand CHO and Moreno on the bench. Was he anticipating them getting caught out of position by Brennan and Djed's pace, and wanted a slightly more athletic and slightly less attacking pair on that wing?

    Agreed. Kulusevski is a beast.
