A good night’s sleep due to total absence of midnight fireworks. Suspect that Eva’s Grill has bought the county’s entire stock of fireworks in preparation for our successful title challenge.

Finally developed the cough that mum brought with her for Christmas.

First football game for a few weeks. Scored a couple of beauties, one with the left, one with the right. Will definitely be taking that away from the game, not the losing by eight. Can't sleep now because of the adrenaline, despite a few pints of depressant.

Ate all the Christmas cheese and had some crackers left, so bought some more cheese to use up the crackers. Figure I can alternate between the two until Easter.

May as well go all out and get some expensive pate and some sort of cured meat / charcuterie platter to compliment as well, just in case, I'd say.

Because it's much like the real Christmas, it started too early and now refuses to go away.

What would be the point in a Christmas 2024 thread now? Are you going to go back to reread and reminisce? No, Loaf, you're not. Time to crack on with next Christmas. If we get through them quick, we'll all be dead and and we will all have completed Christmas.

I guess there are Easter Eggs in the shops, may as well get the 2025 santa hats out as well.

£1 in my local Sainsburys I noticed yesterday.

Ideal for keeping one's head warm and reducing body heat loss during this cold snap if struggling with cost of living on a budget.
