Merry Xmas all.
Merry Xmas all.
Merry Christmas you filthy animals
Very big in Sheboygan. They loved it, you know
Merry Christmas all. Just opened a gift from Mrs BW and Little Miss BW - very nice Paul Smith jumper in white.
Shame about the Manchester United logo stitched into the back below the collar. Mrs BW super apologetic (no need to be). She's sorting the return slip later.
It's a day off. The saki last night destroyed our sleep. I think it was appropriate that we started watching Severance last night.
What's nice about today is you get to hear from people you haven't heard from in the past. Nice that some people remember you. Or Something...
Chicago: Being a lazy sod.
The day took a turn. One of the cats just had to be rushed to the Emergency Vets as she waa pooing blood. This would be an utter shit (if you excuse the pun) Christmas present if wifey’s favourite had a real problem or worse. Hope she just ate something dodgy and we can all laugh about it later.
Chicago: On Edge.
I am wearing a smaul pith t'shirt, as has been traditional since he bailed us out. I am also still waiting for lunch. Originally pencilled in for 3pm. Possible incoming 8pm. Not one of mine. Expect to get several years worth of mileage out of this one.
Merry Xmas one and all. I also wore a Paul Smith T Shirt today. Fortunately no bloody cats, no animals at all actually.
Lucky you. It cost me $1500.
Looks like she will be alright but my wallet won’t.. To be fair that’s priceless..
Chicago: Rich in all the wrong ways.
Can't imagine it's popular on here but ii thought the last Gavin and Stacey was good and wrapped it all up very well.
Yeah, very pleasant and inoffensive, some laugh-out-loud moments, all very nicely wrapped up. Thought they managed the 17-years-on/ageing very well, even if that meant a lot of the laughs around wild behaviour in your 20s from the original series was missed. My only complaint would be I thought Bryn/Rob Brydon was given too much screen time, particularly in the first half of the episode.
I am proud to admit I have not seen one episode of Gavin and Stacy as James Corden always bugged me.
Although that is highly illogical as he might be a good writer but I find him to be so inoffensive that he is offensive to me. I am more of a peep Show person me..
Oh well.
Chicago: Stubbornly prejudiced.
Fully concur with both of the above. Danger with these late revivals is it turns into a series of characters, not really done properly, doing their catchphrases and not much else. Story was worthwhile, didn’t seem too overstretched at 90 minutes, all the actors seemed fine and I laughed a few times.
Am looking forward to watching Gavin and Stacey on catch-up later, more so now it has the Talkback stamp of approval.
ETA I thought Wallace and Gromit was pretty good last night.
Also liked Wallace and Gromit.
Seems like there hasn't been good original Xmas Day TV for years (we don't watch Dr Who) and that this year the BBC did a good job with W&G and G&S.
Haven’t watched W&G or Dr Who yet.
