Well, I haven't been to most of them yet. Had a couple of nights out this week. One of them was also attended by my regular booty call, who did indeed come back with me afterwards.

She's a good friend who I've known for some years, since I became single we've been hooking up fairly regularly but her current marital situation means that's all it is. She'll often call if she's out in the city drinking with friends, and if I'm around (which I usually am) she'll come by my apartment to spend some quality time before going home.

Honestly that sounds like hell to me. (The Parties not the sex), as I spend way too much with people every day. I find most people exhausting. The idea of attending lots of get togethers fills me full of dread. I am happy to be at home with wifey after working none stop for at least 14 hours a day, or even by myself. I have a lot of very attractive women as clients but they tell me everything and most of them are a mess. Too messy for me. Wifey is looking after herself nowadays and has dropped 2 stone and looks great. Since she essentially quit drinking she is a pleasure to live with. She is still more sociable than me but generally she is turning into an antisocial git too. Perfect.

RC answered for me, but to be clear - I was not. There was mutual interest and when I left my wife, that interest was quickly acted upon by both parties.
