    Dyche it is, then. Jobsaguddun.

Already turned them down apparently. And sensibly so, he would be the absolute worst choice for them imo. Their squad would full on revolt.

If that's true, I wonder whether it's because he's being paid by us until the end of next season. Maybe more money could still convince him?

I love Hodgey on Radio Nottingham. Although I don't think anything was picked up on air, he apologised at full-time when a Spurs fan started arguing with him and he briefly broke off the co-commentary to give him a load back. You could hear a bit of panic in Fray's voice before Hodge reappeared and explained his temporary absence, saying he 'had to a put a Spurs fan in his place' and 'sorry for the fruity language'.

    What a legend.

I wonder if said Spurs fan is old enough to remember Hodge's 45 appearance for Spurs (7 goals) between 1986 and 1988?

I don't think it would help if he did. He's not warmly remembered there.

In other news, I've been to the bathroom three times today. They only thing that I can attribute this to is that anything connected with spurts makes you shit.

Yes, but though I'm not finding the finish, I keep making the runs.

6+ points from the next three seems critical…

Don’t be daft. Not beating Burnley would be pretty unforgivable, but anything from the other two counts as good work. Six points would be an outstanding return. Five would be very good. Par is three and a half.

It’s going to be 2 points isn’t it?
The Forest way will be lose to Villa, draw with Burnley and Sunderland followed by some heroics in either London or Manchester.

Without checking the fixture lists (which matter with so few games left) I’d be putting my Shady’s on us or Leeds.

Looked at the fixture list and it turns out Spurs are going down with 38 points.

Leeds’ run in is interesting. They play Wolves, Burnley, WetSham and Spurs. The latter two fixtures are good for us, obviously.

We have a tough run in.. and it most likely boils down to ‘beat Burnley and find at least 3 extra points elsewhere’. Our form and performances would point to that being the expected outcome. That we don’t have any more ‘six-pointers’ is good because we have fucking suuuuucked at those.

You could say three points against Burnley is essential, but I have more confidence in us getting three points against Chelsea.

Weren’t the last two six pointers West Ham and Spurs?

Wolves play West Ham, Leeds and Spurs as their next three. They aren’t going to win all of those but they aren’t going to lose them all either. If they beat someone, it’ll be a massive hit for whoever that is.
