Looks like my fucking car needs repairs again that are very possibly not worth paying for. Somewhere round a grand. Head gasket or something. I don't know about cars. It's not even got 90k on the clock. But it's French. Citroen Grand Picasso which I hoped to keep going for another couple of years.

Personally I wouldn't buy a second hand battery car. I wouldn't buy a second hand battery phone without being sure I could change the battery if I had to....and I'd factor the cost of that into my purchasing decision.
Who knows how it's been treated, how long it will last, and how stable/bomb like it is.
