Belichick's reign of terror ends with a whimper. Very pleased we were able to break the streak before he went, and send him out with a defeat to his most hated team at Foxborough.

Panthers have had a season to forget.
But just announced as an international game this year.
Sadly Munich rather than London. And I can’t justify two trips to Germany, given the Euros in June.
Vikings, Bears and Jaguars in London.
I see the Prince of Dickness has been being a dick, and got himself thrown off ESPN.
And then was back on two days later. Technically the Pat McAfee Show isn't ESPN, it's independent and bought by ESPN but Disney are still the ultimate paymasters for both him and Kimmel.
The whole thing is mindbendingly stupid. I'm usually very reticent about using the whole "shut up and play football" line because I'm very aware that I only want to say it to sportspeople I don't agree with and that's pretty hypocritical, but in this case I think it's warranted.
Sometimes I just think that they like to find the stupidest people that they can, and put them on television.
What a great week for the playoffs. The Packers absolutely tanking the Dal-arse Cowboys was a pure joy to watch. Detroit still in after a shootout against their old quarterback and Miami laughingly trying to play in the cold against Kansas.
Fun fun fun.
I predicted at the start of the season, A 49ers/Detroit championship game as well as a Buffalo/Kansas on the other side. I predicted a 49ers superbowl against the Bills.
Flashforward. I think it will probably be the 49ers against the Ravens but they have to play a tricky tie against houston who have a terrific quarterback who has played in the cold in Ohio and then either the Chiefs or the Bills.
Fun fun fun even though my team wasn't really in the equation from the very beginning of the season.
Chicago: Recovering through violence.
As the Soup bowl appeared to have been turned into some kind of proxy culture war, I am delighted that Taylor Swift won.
I agree. And it was quite a good game.
It was a very good game but you just knew when the 49ers missed the extra point that Kansas would win.
I picked the Chiefs before the game but wanted the 49ers due to Brock Purdy being pretty fucking great considering he was the last man picked in the draft a few years ago. Mr. Irrelevant winning the Super Bowl would have been a mega story.
Oh well I guess the Giants will have to knock off the dynasty again, after they stuck it to Brady and Bellicheck all those years ago.
Chicago: Still living in the past.
When I moved to Boston on Jan 1st 2002 (even longer than all those years ago), that was pretty much the Brady/Patriots story.
Any NHL action tonight?
You cheeky scamp, you.
Beating up the fat kid with specs and a gammy leg doesn't make you tough.
Yeah! I'm with you Ro-land.
My worst nightmare has happened. Saquon Barkley signs with the fucking Philadelphia Eagles. The only thing worse would have been Dallas. The Giants could have franchised tagged him and kept him for one more productive year but let him leave to get paid and also torture our fragile team.
Is someone taking the piss?
Chicago: Actually a New York Fan.
Really quite enjoying the Leafs taking the Bruins to game 6, if the bruins blow it from here it will make the next couple of weeks a lot more enjoyable.
