The Dozy Giants cannot do anything right. Third string quarterback. Everyone injured. On course to be close to the number 1 draft pick who is meant to be a generational talent and then we win this knocking us down third or four spots in the draft order. Twats.

Still, we have the rest of the season to correct that starting with Guru’s Patriots. The commanders are our bitches even when we are rubbish. Muswell have a word for chrissakes…

    Chicago: Disappointed.

The 2023 New York Jets have officially broken me, I just listed my tickets for Friday's game v Miami. They can get fucked if I'm dropping $300+ on hotels and gas to watch that abject apology for an offense.

Won 4 straight. Payton appears to have got Russell Wilson working again.

To be honest, I’m impressed you made it this far… in relation to the broken Russ

And I would have thought he'd be very used to it by now given his impressive portfolio of 'are mostly shit' teams across pretty much all the sports he routinely actively follows.

With Jacques Martin on board, get ready for an over-emphasis on players that are "good without the puck".
    Whatever that means.

We've had that with DJ's interminable dump and chase game for the last five years. Brady's great for it, but asking players like Josh Norris and Alex Debrincat to play a heavy forechecking game and do nasty in the corners is gross mismanagement. Jacques oversaw one of our most successful periods as a team, and while his time has passed and he's only interim I still expect him and Alfie to do a much better job of using our very talented roster properly. Watching Tim Stutzle and Claude Giroux recently has been utterly miserable, two incredible stickhandlers and creators relegated to chasing the puck around the neutral zone because DJ insists on playing a game predicated on giving it to the opponent and trying to force turnovers.

Controlled zone exits and entries are back on the menu!

Let's go back to the NFL shall we. The Fucking useless Giants won three in a row and were in danger of screwing up a good draft pick. They came crashing down to earth yesterday and have the Eagles coming up twice which guarantee's losses. The only problem is that the Jets have the same record and it's looking increasingly likely that they might snag a quarterback too. Can you useless numpties win one more game please so we have the pick ahead of you.

    I thank you.

And Tricky, the Packers weren't part of the plan last week. Have a word.

    Chicago: Building for the future.

I still haven't seen any of the Knights game and am unlikely to watch Thursday night at Colarado being as it is at mental o'clock.

See you on Thursday night / Friday morning at mental o'clock then.

No chance. We have Rodgers returning next season and we need at least three new offensive linemen - this draft has several outstanding tackle prospects and there's no way we won't take one if we're in a position to do so. I think we'll take a developmental QB on day 2 - I'd like to keep Zach and have him sit behind Rodgers as was the plan this year, but I suspect that he will quite reasonably want to go somewhere else after this dumpster fire of a season.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the Giants invest their top pick in OL as well, and focus on keeping Danny Fumbles upright given how much you're paying him.

I am unlikely to watch it as well, I'll probably be in bed before the third period starts.

Belichick's reign of terror ends with a whimper. Very pleased we were able to break the streak before he went, and send him out with a defeat to his most hated team at Foxborough.
