They'll make a big profit on him. Probably quite soon.
You never quite know how they will train on. We wouldn't have got Anderson for what we did, when we did, if anyone seriously thought he would be where he is now. That's football.
And what twats like Eddie Howe forget is that Anderson is only as good as he is now as he’s been playing everything week in a (Ange aside) fairly decent side. Which has allowed him to develop.
If he’d stayed at Newcastle he’d have been behind Bruno, Joelinton and Tonali so would be nowhere near current levels, and perhaps may have never been.
Exactly. Development comes from playing, and from playing with good/experienced players. Developing good habits and knowledge of the level. It bemuses me when you get a team like chelski signing thousands of young players, and refusing to have any experience for them to learn from. A good number of those players are not going to develop how they might have, and are going to be worth less than they should be.
Although their value might not go down as much as if they had signed for manure.
And the 2nd goal was fantastic. An overhit right to left cross retrieved, some short ball retaining passes, a brilliant run into space, an outside of the boot pass, an intelligent cut back following a sexy spin, an attacking run from the opposite full back who anticipates the space and the pass and provides a composed finish.
Seriously - that's a fucking good goal.
Agreed. When you get the full backs combining that close together, around the opposition six yard box, Dyche is clearly relying on his typical long ball, focus on set pieces, anti-football.
