Commentator saying how Liverpool have been on the wrong end of another player in front of the keeper offside. Poor them. Without talking about our incident against United a few weeks ago.
...not handball for me. The tried as hard as they could to freeze the frame where the ball was overhanging the arm as much as possible...but the circumference of it would clearly have hit chest.....there might have been a slight influence of a half gareth taylor chest control to drop the ball down...but overall, I would say not hand ball.
I'm sorry but it either is handball or it isn't. I can understand how fouls can be either way or not enough contact, but either you touch the ball with your hand/arm or you don't.
The problem is that it's "in the opinion of the referee", and as we know the referees are largely wrong. Then the broom cupboard boys work hard on 'proving' the referee correct. To get the stats up.
I can't remember, are you talking about the one where the opponent ducked under the ball as they were running in an offside position, or the other one where he was just blocking the view of the keeper?
Both offside position, weren't they...just ruled out for not interfering. In the opinion of the idiot wrong referee.
This. I mean I didn't moan much at the time. But then two weeks later Liverpool have one ruled out which I thought was very similar, so now feel a bit more annoyed about it.
That's the outside the box challenge that he kept going from (advantage)....then there was a contact/leg tangle, that he got away from, with the bottom of his heel/foot slightly caught after that in the box.
