Might be his son, which would be less helpful.

I think his actual title has something to do with 'Loans and Pathway Players' or similar, which makes him sound like some sort of brand of cigarettes off (of) the 80s.

Someone just messaged me to see if there was any truth in the rumour that our greek overlord was looking at taking over in the interim.

I replied and said don't be so stupid.

Then my stomach started churning, please tell me it's not actually allowed, you have to have the badges don't you.

But leaves the caveat of ‘not at this stage’.

We’ve done well recently with managers that are, y’know, nice and clearly well liked by the players, and act like what we do is a shared endeavour. Of the three names being most touted, Mancini definitely seemed the odd-one-out, in a bad way, on that attribute. Something that Ange seemed like a total failure on because he was just constantly wazzing on about himself.

So bullet dodged for now. If it’s Dyche then so be it.. but if Silva wants the job (and isn’t just seeing an excellent opportunity to improve on his contract) he’s my choice. He’s got credit in the bank with EM, a great track record of good football and results at the level, and being Portuguese helps,

The release fee feels like a drop in the ocean.. especially given we are very likely to be getting a huge PSR boost before next season by selling Anderson (cos there are going to be multiple top clubs willing to pay a lot of money for him)

Percy seems to think Dyche is imminent. Hope Murillo is looking forward to playing left back.

Because he'll want Morato's height at CB?

Which these days wouldn’t just apply to Stevie Stevie Stone but could be recycled for Ian Ian Woan as well.

Or Boly or Cunha. He certainly isn't going to put up with Zinchenko at left back, so a mobile left footed central defender, who'll give us a bit of extra aerial power at set pieces makes sense. He played O'Brien there for Everton (so does Moyes, to be fair) and he's 6'6. If he does, it reduces the value of Murillo significantly.
