It’s more than two weeks away, if it doesn’t sell out, it’ll be damn close.

It’s Leicestershire half term and I’m on holiday. That would have been one extra sold.

There are rumours on Xitter that he's gone. Nothing confirmed or credible yet.

Yeah, but I've also seen rumours the replacement is Rafa Benitez.

Don't threaten me with a good time.

You know when we thought it could get worse and got BFR, Megson and Billy 2.

    That would be Rafa Benitez.

I’m not sure we could do any worse, with the exception of Russell Martin or that ex-Luton prick.

I'd absolutely take Benitez. He's an experienced head who knows how to win in the Premier League and I'm not sure that a short unsuccesful stint at Everton where the fans hated him and the club owners were inept is reason enough to think him a downgrade on the Australian Steve Hockaday.

    I didn't say I want him, I said I'd take him over Postecoglu. I don't think he's great but I don't think he'd be a disaster.

    I'd much rather have Silva.

I'm not against Silva, but what is so convincing about him that we think an £8-10M fee is worth paying for our 3rd manager in a month? He's finished 10th, 13th and 11th in three years, no trophies, no European places, at a stable, if not extravagant, club. I mean it's fine, but it doesn't seem to fit the club goals. Are we sure he's he golden bullet?

It's a really fascinating period for us. Stick or twist? There's hazards in both choices. That's even before you get into the next appointment - which you would think would become critical.

It seems bonkers to be worrying about relegation, the possibility of being out of the hard won (on the grass, and in the spreadsheets) competition place, and almost back to square one...but those are possibilities whichever way that we jump.

Benitez has been looking a bit out of steam since he was at newcastle. I would definitely be betting on a homecoming for sean, woany, and stoney if it was my money.

He also had success working for Marinakis previously, which is a not insignificant factor.

He won the Greek title, it was the 11th consecutive title for Olympiacos, like winning the Scottish title with Celtic really. Then he left one year into a two year contract.

I like him, but it's worrying that he is being billed as a bit of a saviour figure. But then it really isn't worth worrying, so...

If I could be bothered I could make a case that he's kept a fairly average Fulham team mid table for the last few years, and that given more resources he could likely do even better.
