I’m not surprised he made it about himself (he always does) but I can’t think of a time he’s actively blamed the death of a private citizen on “TDS”.

Saw him on a recent rerun of a Mortimer and Whitehouse Christmas special. Always surprised me that he was a lad from Boro, not the west coast crooning rocker he sounded like. He came across like a good bloke. Only 74 too. Not that much older than me.
