Part of me is glad I can remember that far back these days.
Although there are better things to remember than that shite.

I was going with Breaking Bad News
Pearly Cates.

This is rather random. I quite enjoyed 2.4 Children way back when. Cates left after 1 or 2 series. It seems she died back in May and it's only just being reported.
Also I once did a show at the Haymarket with Belinda Lang. I only met her briefly when I had to replace the broken fan in her dressing room. A few years later Mrs Rave stage managed a show with her. I met Mrs Rave in the pub one night after rehearsals. Belinda was there, took one look at me and declared 'we've met before, haven't we?'
Obviously I had to remind her where and when, but I was rather flattered that she remembered my face. I would've liked to have had a chat about stuff, possibly about Gary Olsen or the rest of the cast from Hay Fever at The Haymarket (including Judi Dench and Peter Bowles) but Matthew Kelly - who was also in the show and the pub - rather took over. He's also a nice person and means well, but is / was a little socially dominant.
E war Woo war's son was also there / in the cast. He didn't remember me from when we worked together on a brilliant play called Burning Blue at The Haymarket.
Nor did I remind him of the night we were all out post-show drinking on the drinking club boat moored on the Thames (McCready's?) when I spent fucking ages waiting for the toilet, only for the door to open and he to emerge with 2 ladies clearly post snort.
Rave's theatre reminisces, featuring well-known actors of days gone by, are among my favourite posts on here. Especially the ones where said actors are revealed to be awful cunts.
Most kind.
I think it was the same night on the drinking boat that the lairy Master Carpenter asked Tony Armatrading (or Tony Armourplating as we called him, much to his amusement) if the rumours were true about his sister Joan and Valerie Singleton. We had to stop Tony decking him, although we were sorely tempted not to.
Christ on a smite.
Viper's dead. (I know the quote is Jester, but obviously that doesn't work.)
Make it dead, Number 1.
Sad times. Lets hope its a prank by Q
