This could easily go into the “what’s annoying me” Yes she fucked up. Reading the summary it was through incompetence rather than malice.
We all know that if she was a male Tory, this would not even be a story.
It shows how difficult it is for a Labour government to control the narrative. -
Seems like she didn't get the right advice. And the three houses stuff is nonsensical (one is a grace and favour and the other is where her ex-husband lives).
But she's the housing minister and she evaded tax buying a house, it's not defensible, it's incumbent on her to get the right advice, ignorance isn't a defence and it especially isn't for someone in her position.

I think he'd have known the right questions to ask and wouldn't have been in that situation in the first place. But, yes, I do. Zahawi had to resign when he was caught the wrong side of the avoidance/evasion line.
