I hate this holier-than-thou look-at-how-Corinthian-I-am attitude. Toney is an odious cheating cunt, and he was before yesterday, and he plays for an unpleasant, cynical, tinpot little club with a prick of a manager, and I want bad things for all of them. I don't care whether he's available for England in summer.

I think there's room for some middle ground between here, and where you have managed to froth your head up to.
I'm quite comfortable being at neither end. For clarification, as I explained earlier..it is normal for football players to push the envelope wherever possible. That's why the players on the other team should fight to keep their end up, and a referee is needed to arbitrate. It's a game. We expect the players on the pitch to give their all, and be gladiators for our entertainment. You are not involved. You deserve no congratulations when your team wins. Nobody has hurt you when it loses. Chill your jets and get some perspective.
Banning words will never fix this sort of disproportionate behaviour. We are going to have to work together to effect real change.

I'm with JRC. It's less the cheating and more the blatant "I want to play for a big club" cuntitude. Every player wants to play for a "big club". At least have the decency to not insult the fans by saying it publicly while serving a lengthy suspension on full pay and watching your team suffer as a result.
