That free kick was almost identical to the one he scored last season. It might be different personnel for Forest but I find it hard to believe that they wouldn’t have reviewed footage of that as part of their planning for today. And even if they didn’t, set your fucking wall up properly you fucking idiot it’s not difficult.
I think this might be the most annoyed I’ve felt about a goal so far this season.

Thoughts:
Still kittens every time the ball is passed back to Turner
Their defenders don’t seem a whole lot better or more confident than Forest’s.
Forest look quite good when they hold the ball and several players look [overused term] lively going forward.
Tavares looks pretty good but could have done with him passing when he ran in to trouble up the middle.
This feels like the most “could go either way” in a while and that’s saying something.

CHO looks leggy.

Agree with RA.
Brentford seem to like risky passes from the back for minimal (obvious) gain. Maybe it's psychological, or aimed at tiring the forwards, but it just seems unnecessary. I suppose we aren't as pacey today as we might have been.
Yes, Toney moved the ball for the free kick, but we could have adjusted. Disappointing, but we've played ok all things considered.

Re the moving of the ball at the free kick:
Isn’t that fact that he also moved the foam and ‘repainted’ it a bit wider cheating? And don’t VAR review every goal so shouldn’t it be picked up?

Commentator now mentioning this but saying Forest, particularly Yates, needed to have said something. The foam bit really sticking out.
