I would guess a loan keeper would be in keeping especially as we have sold Scarpa.

I thought Blackpool's keeper was better than ours. Not that I thought he's premierleagueship class.

    Adrian or Heaton?

De Gea on a 6 month contract

Karl Darlow would be fine with me.

    Darlow seems an upgrade

Their third goal yesterday I've not seen back, but told he clearly controlled with his hand but because it came off his thigh first that's not handball.

If that is the interpretation then we should (and everyone else) be telling players that once they've touched ball with part of their body they are free to use an arm to do whatever they want with ball to gain advantage.

There was one angle - shown on the stadium screen - that made it look like it had hit his arm. Another angle from side on showed that it hadn't.

You can say all this, but if Toney hits the same shot from where it's meant to be, it hits Yates.

If you watch the footage none of our players notice. They're all busy sorting other things.

    I have 4 points:
The wall should have seen it.
The wall should have compensated or complained.
The ref should have seen it
    VAR should have addressed it.

The idea that Nuno only blamed VAR and the ref is wrong.

Here’s the quotes from the athletic (which covers all your points above, I think.)

Wasn't the ref stood about 2 inches in front of the wall at the point of Toney moving the ball? So some of them would've been unable to see it.

If there's any justice in the world Toney will do his cruciate in training, thus meaning that Brentford are without either the player or the money for the rest of the season and get relegated as a result.

But there isn't any justice in the world and this result will be the difference between us staying up and going down.

It a sad consequence of the sort of world that we are building, that so many people are increasingly angry with other individuals. Abuse and threats of violence are on the increase (however many words the middle classes retire). Toney was doing his best for his team, as football etiquette demands. Our players, and the officials, didn't do their best. it's on them. I don't consider it ever acceptable to wish serious injury on a player. It's a horrible state to get yourself in.

We may well need Toney's attributes in the summer.

None of them have any confidence in the keeper. So they’re all fussing about second guessing him because they know he’s a car crash.

    Agreed.
But he refers to himself in the third person as Big Dog so all bets are off
