I quite like this staggering of kick offs, presumably so we can watch another entire half of football after our match has finished.

So half an hour of pretty constant attacking and their keeper has barely had a touch. Not good.

Fucking hell will the twats in charge not sort this mess out? It’s offside. It does not need to be complicated. It does not need all this fuss.

That we’ve seen a bunch of similar goals/non-goals lately shows, to me, that teams are making a tactical choice to have a man stand in front of the keeper and not worry about being offside.. coaches think that man creates an advantage therefore they think he’s interfering.

It’s not a perfect solution.. but a quick fix is just to say that anyone in the six yard box is presumed to be interfering. This ‘line of sight’ stuff is such bollocks.. it is clearly not the only relevant consideration.
