I have steered us through trying times with more wins of late than losses, yet I don't mind this match thread. Out of the bottom three and hopefully not stuck with the Rob Edwards trap game where he tries to shithouse his team to a win. He won't. We should see them off. But because it's him it could be a draw.
Fuck it, I am sending Ingo off into the match thread sunset with a massive win., 3-0. Because it's the Wooly Wolves cnuts and because it's the Wooly Wolves Cunts. And also Rob Edwards is a bellend.
I think The ginger Prince might play Morato again if Murillo is sidelined. MGW has a spotty back. Hopefully he can play for his annual revenge game.
Hutchinson and CHO to start to rip them a new one.
For them, it's a home game against a team in bottom 5, it's one of their dwindling opportunities to get a win. (They've already lost at home to Burnley and Leed.)
Presumably you didn't actually watch the game? Seems like they played better than they have been but they had less possession, worse xG, fewer shots, fewer shots on target, fewer corners. So "unfortunate not to beat" seems generous; "could have got something from the game" seems closer.
But as both of us were presumably otherwise occupied while villa and wolves were playing, neither of us really know how the game went (unless you are mental and watched the whole match).
The narrative around the game is that they were unlucky but that's the more interesting story to tell, so I'm wary of it.
If you'd only watched Match of the day, you'd think Brighton spent 90 minutes peppering our goal, while we both know the game was pretty even after the first 20 or so minutes (which is reflected in the stats).
