Well, in terms of positives, I had 6 pints before the game for the first time in years. Also had a few after and then managed to arrange a takeaway pick up at sileby at the same time the wife picked me up from the station.

The negatives - barring a January miracle, we are down. You don't win Premier games with Origi and Wood starting. We made a game of it, but they looked better than us before the sending off.

It's possible....but at least the coach wont be loads more popular than the owner.

Not sure about that. Is the owner popular?

Think his stock will plummet if things don't improve now he's pulled the plug on Cooper.

I was more thinking about how unpopular the coach could become.

As things stand, it depends how many of the remaining games we can get out of Awoniyi.

PT says back in 2-3 weeks. So, just in time for AFCON. That’s going to go down well, especially if he has a recurrence.

We've had season tickets in the Lower Trent End since 2010 and the ball has never come out of play anywhere near us in that time. Maybe two or three rows away and a dozen seats along, but never any closer.

Yesterday, in the second half, Ryan Yates attacks down the right wing where he's faced by two Bournemouth defenders and, as he crosses, the ball spins off them towards us and dropped at my son's feet. He threw it back straight away and it bopped one of them on the head as they get back up. Chris Wood scores from the resulting corner.

    Best bit of the game.

That's good. With a bit of much we'll have him available from February onwards then.

Shouldn’t Elanga have been booked for going over the hoardings after he scored?

Calm your tits, Si. Rob Jones might be reading…

If he's reading this shit, he's lost what little respect I had left for him

Is it true what I've seen that Rob Jones is a life long Derby fan!

    Doesn't help the narrative.

One thing I haven’t seen discussed elsewhere is the half time sub we made. Swapping Mangala for CHO was pretty bold and I don’t think it was something SSC would have done. Of course, ultimately it didn’t work but it did make us more aggressive instead of sliding to an inevitable two or three goal defeat if we’d stayed as we were towards the end of the first half. It nearly paid off too, and would have done if Niakhate had remembered he was supposed to be in front of or level with his man for the cross.

I did think CHO looked decent when he came on which was one promising thing if he can stay fit.

Goal aside, i thought Elanga was dreadful again yesterday

Easy to forget he’s a year younger than Brennan. He’s still raw and will be inconsistent but I like him.
