They could/should have used that to allow the referee to get out the situation he'd got himself in. Asked him to come review the "stamp" on the ankle. He'll have decided it wasn't a red ... And in the same phase would sneakily have seen that Boly's should be rescinded too.

What’s the atmosphere like?
For info Brigg is 0-0 at Wombwell. Awful surface and the wind is playing havoc.
Ball has barely been in play as ref is just blowing for a foul at every contact. Just been a series of set plays. Should have (of) stayed at home. -
Sounds good on the radio. The injustice is kind of helping a bit I think.

It really feels like we're going down to me. Especially with Luton and Sheffield United grinding out results. I don't know who the three worse teams than us are going to be. Hell,I can't even name two.

I don't believe he can overturn a yellow with VAR. All he'd have been able to review is whether there was serious foul play by the Bournemouth player, which there wasn't.

I dunno, we've looked pretty solid so far. Partly it's because we're not committing so many men forward now that we're down to ten, but I won't be told that replacing Boly with Niakhate hasn't also been a big upgrade.
