    This argument is bollocks.

At the Burnley game a steward came to bollock me for vaping. I wasn't vaping, I never have. I'm (well was) 43 years old and suck my thumb when I'm thinking. The point is, aside from this obviously ridiculous habit, is that any misdemeanour is picked up by what can't be far off the most technologically advanced surveillance system this side of Russia. The moment anyone chucks a Madri at Tricky they will be hauled out. The days of crowd anonymity at football are long gone.

As someone who is a fan of drinking, I like a drink while watching football. But not amongst the English. We are dick heads and cant have nice things.

A few young performative cunts would ruin it for everyone in order to get the 'lads, lads, lads!' content on their phones for socialz later. That said, I could get on board with video of them having their skulls thumped by Barry from Bulwell after they'd soaked him and his Mrs in ale.

Would be a hard no from me, but then I very rarely go these days so much more for those of you who do.

In principle it sounds fair. Why should rugby (or cricket) fans be able to drink in the stands when football fans can't? But we all know that the answer is that it would mean getting soaked in beer in certain areas of the ground, especially away ends.

Yep, away ends (and safe standing) would be awful for beer being thrown.
Quiet, seated home ends (where that nice Mr Burnham likes to sit) would be okay, apart from people constantly standing up to a) buy more booze and, as a consequence b) needing a p!ss. Plus the further consequence of when they are twatted in the second half, spilling their beer everywhere, usually all over some poor person nearby (as happened on my last (well only) visit to Twickers, last year, drunken rugger cnuts).

Unsurprisingly put me in the beer yes please camp.

Not that it'll happen or even be consulted on.

I think Jeff is on the right lines. Allow alcohol in specific stands or sections only. Steward it aggressively. Deny entry to anyone with a rugby shirt, a red nose, or a braying Home Counties voice.

Surely the rules stipulated (Deny entry to anyone with a rugby shirt, a red nose, or a braying Home Counties voice) should be applied to the whole ground irrespective of alcohol consumption.

No objections here m'lud. May damage Fulham's away following, but I think the club can probably live with the reduction from 50 to 20.
