The police were very OTT. They kettled us, very very slowly, all the way back to town. Well. They tried. We went by a Lime Bike docking station so I jumped on one and managed to make a break for it. Back in town waiting for everyone else.

So much this. I will fight anyone who disagrees that he is the best current English 6. And he's not a 6. Enjoy his time here. It will be short but profitable.

We were very very good in the first half - although I do worry about the position our full backs find themselves in when we lose possession. Luiz going off injured is a blow because he really is class. The difference between him and Sangare is stark. Jesus was excellent and could have had a few more. MOM is Elliot Anderson though and was magnificent. The problem was, the subs disrupted us and we also looked knackered in the second half. Kalibueno looks like faster version of Taiwo but not as strong. So like Taiwo, I hope he comes good after getting time to adjust. His first touch is a bit ropey though. Hopefully it is just nerves. If his first touch had been decent he would have scored in the second half.

Morgan wasn't tidy either, but again I think we were tired in the second half. Was a little suprised that since our midfield passing was going astray we maybe could have brough on more than just Yatesy to calm things down.

A good point but also I suspect the team a little disappointed we didn't get all three because we couldn't finish them off and then got tired. Hopefully Ange, has a plan to be more pragmatic near the end of games when we seem to run out of gas. The humidity played a part for sure but again we probably need to look at game management.

Onto Sunderland and I hope The Serbinator and Luiz only have cramp or dead legs. (bollocks, luiz may have a hammy).. Murillo should be back which should help but hopefully Neco isn't run totally into the ground. Sangare has a lot of ricks to his game and it doesn't look he is our answer to shutting up shop. Maybe the Dom can be back to being the Dom. I would like that.

Surprising myself, I thought Morato was excellent tonight. It is a good point. It should have been better, because we played circa 30 minutes of football that was pure sex. The second half was a concern though.

In one hour's time I will have been awake for 24 hours. I am not built for this anymore.

Great result and a fantastic half-performance, by the sound of it. Loving Luiz far more than I thought I would. We so miss Murillo when he's not there, but I'm not sure any club wouldn't miss him.

A lot of morons (not on here) had written Jesus off, and he looks the real deal. Players settle at different rates so not writing him off.
