Aggressive substitution…..
Aggressive substitution…..
How exciting it is, though, to see Bakwa standing on the side of the pitch ready to come on. Last season, the option would have been Jota Silva.
I had it on on my phone beneath my monitor as I was on a multiparty video call. It's fair to say I was a little distracted from what I'm sure was a riveting discussion of strategies for expanding distribution of service in Nigeria and Egypt.
I wasn't able to pay close attention to Sangare's performance but I am unsurprised by this thread.
Really hope Zinchenko is rusty. Because, for a player of his experience, he’s making a lot of basic mistakes.
Looks to me like a decent footballer that’s being asked to play left back for the first time in his life…
Seems to have evened out at the beginning of the second…

I did wonder if the time difference put this within work hours for you.
Who was it who said that Sels couldn't kick? His decision making and passing has been impeccable today.
How many fucking times are they going to get away with fouling Elliott Anderson?
That would have been a crazy goal.
They seem to have got some espressos into Sangare at half-time.
That would have been a crazy goal.
He could have just cushioned it.
I was just thinking that our breaks had become somewhat less clinical since MGW moved into Anderson's position this half, then we carve them open only for Kalimuendo to pay homage to my first touch.

I missed the first 44 minutes as I was in a meeting, now endeavoring to work while watching the 2nd half - Can't help feeling if it was Jesus and not Kalimuendo with that most recent chance, it would now be 3-1
We look very ragged in this half. No control. Looking leggy.

He had the same problem against Swansea. Takes too long to get his feet set to shoot. Think he’s probably not good enough.
