Last time my daughter was on bus from Seville to Malaga on school trip they hit a dog about halfway there on the dual carriageway at top speed.
Had a dog shaped hole in front of bus.
Some kids wanted to stop to see if the dog needed help apparently.
No dogs hit so far this time.

I did that in my car on the A46 with, believe it or not, a peacock.
Although peacocks don't make peacock shaped holes, as far as I recall.
