My turn to try and get this new Aussie ship sailing after poor efforts from Chic and mediocre ones from Ingo.

Betis are a pretty good side. It is going to be tough. I am hoping that the occasion doesn't get to the players and that we treat it with excitement rather than freeze on the big stage. Hopefully Betis' attitude is 'who the hell are Nottingham Forest' and they don't take us seriously, leading to a 3-0 win for Forest. I hope Murillo comes back in. I'd like to see Jesus start. Can't make my mind up about the wingers at the moment. Bakwa and ... someone I think.

I presume the game is on TV if you are going to bother watching it @Ingo . I will of course be over in Spain chucking chairs around old squares, singing about the RAF with a can of Carling in my hand. Rule Brittania 4eva.

    Ooh Betis.
Hopefully Forest won't channel Frank Spencer and do a whoopsie on the carpet.
Another 1-1 with missed chances frustration.

Don't see us getting anything in our current state of flux. Hopefully no worse than 2-0.

On paper, should be the hardest game of the 8 in the group, shouldn't it?

Definitely, the least likely to get anything from you would think. Decent team who seem to be doing well

Id like to see Williams on the left to handle Antony. A draw would be great. Expecting a 2-1 loss though.

Ah yes I'd forgotten about him.

Didn't realise until yesterday that Pellagrini is Betis' manager.

I should be fine with this, barring issues, but I noticed that the ticket collection in Seville closes at 5pm when the game doesn't KO until 9pm. Which frankly seems a bit harsh/early to me.

It would also be harsh if they closed the ticket pick up dead on 5 with people still in the queue but I wouldn't leave it too late. Fortunately I'm there tomorrow so the queueing should be easier.

I really should have made the effort to try and make this game or Braga as this sounds like a lot of fun and I have air miles to burn but no tickets..

Since I am essentially now the only earner in the family due to Wifey's business being killed by 50% tariffs across the board for her imports, I am stuck at work feeling a tad envious of people willing and able to make the journey. I guess i can still watch the game on television so there is that, but it would be have been great to join in the adventure.

Oh well, hopefully Shady's uninspired thread title helps bore the opposition to death and we begin with aplomb.

    Chicago: Jealous.

I was not even remotely tempted to go, I didn't even toy wirlth the idea. Much better things to use travel time and money on.

Seems to be an odd pattern amongst fans of those who couldn't get a ticket declaring they weren't bothered about going anyway.

Sevilla is meant to be a really great city. I can't wait.
