This is an excellent question. We are ahead of the traditional recent target (well ahead under the current manager) to avoid relegation. Yet the league is dogshit (relative to where it could be for money spet - it seems like too many clubs are recruiting for development, flashing their knickers at the higher food change beasts and petrostates, and not trying to be the best that they could be). More top end points are finding their way down the league than you mgiht expect.
With 15 games left, I don't expect anyone will be going on a sustained 2pts per game run. If wet hams did, they would get 50 points....so any discussion is going to fail to meet guru's law.
I think my probably safe level is around 45 points at the moment.....although that is going to come down very quickly as other teams don't make points in the games they play. A big factor here is if wet hams get out of it....if they sink the number is going to very quickly get much less. If they do sink 40 is definitely enough. burnley and wolves are gone. If they don't, I would want our points tally to at least start with a 4.
Totteninghams supporters are quite entitled and bell-endy. I could see more disruption there, and them making a concerted run for the relegation spots. Leed and Palearse will also be eyeing us nervously. It's one from five out of those, for me...but it might quickly resolve if the hammers tank.
