Everything boils down to the summer recruitment. We needrd more players to be able to play twice a week and the ones we brought in are, taken altogether, utter shit.

They may all develop and be great but we needed players for this season not two years time.

Everything else mentioned is just a symptom of that.

So have to point blame at Marinakis and Edu.

Interesting Chic refers to Megson. Last time I saw an atmosphere like second half last night was the infamous Woking away.

    Or Midytlland at home?

At the very least, we needed them to be effective, reliable, squad players this year, building on the spine of last year's side. Not one has been adequate and consistent cover. That's damning of several individuals who aren't the players themselves. I don't know enough about the interior workings of football clubs to guess whether the players themselves are at all to blame.

Like Cooper, i think Dyche is a good 'un, but I really want him to be better at his job. Man-management and preparation of reserves is sodding essential.

He's got until the summer for me, as does Edu. One to fix the team, and one to show they can tailor recruitment to Forest.

Discussing post game, why don't we start with strongest team with intent to get ahead and swap players out at half time or just after?

Because if that doesn't work, you're taking off your best players when you're chasing a result, which makes you look like a madman.

Because when football games start, everyone is fresh, and the attritional effects have not taken effect yet. Generally games are quite even, it's only as tiredness and when the games open up that the difference in the quality of players is fully evident.

I always liked to start games with a team that could do a job, and have a couple of players who could come on and take it up a notch as the gaps started to appear.

Whereas if a player was coming back, not fit, or on the edge of getting injured, I would like to start with them, see what I could get out of them, and pull them off (not in an alf ramsey sort of a way) when they'd shot their bolt.

Shows how absolutely dog shit bad our players are then.
