Looking forward to this. Flying out to Lisbon tomorrow then making our way up the coast the morning of the game. My friends brothers workmates mate has supposedly got us tickets in the home end. Fingers crossed. I'm feeling relatively positive that we can get a result. 2-0 Forest, Sangare and CHO.

Need two wins from the last two to avoid the play offs. But with the league being as it is, hard to see us going too strong.

1 post and boom, the enthusiasm has gone!

    Textbook Mince, textbook.

    Excellent work.

It would be nice to secure Braga-ing rights, but I fear another 0-0.

Excellent title, James. I have been making bacalhau dishes a little recently, we have a large Portuguese community in Toronto and salt cod is an easily found ingredient. Requires some planning as you have to soak it for like two days prior to cooking, but the taste and texture are quite specific.

Haven't done Bacalhau a Braga before but maybe I'll give it a go this weekend.

I don't know. All I hear is Radio Braga.

For what it's worth opta rank Braga as the 60th best team in the world, which, in english terms, puts them between West Ham and Burnley. We are 34th, Midtjylland 57th and Ferencvaros 97th.

I think there's a decent argument for going full strength tomorrow and resting players against Brentford (who have the 4th best home record in the country), to aim for the benefit of not having to playoff and having 10 days off over the FA cup 4th round weekend.

Cheers, but we seem to be sorted. We've ended up with corporate tickets! Looking forward to some prawn sandwiches.

On the train to Luton airport so here's a brain dump that's been in my head the last day or two but I haven't had time to write down ...

So when the Braga tickets went on sale they did them in batches like they normally do....

    • Away members with 2 previous EL attendance
    • Away members with 1 previous EL attendance
    • ...etc...
    • Season Ticket Holders
    • Pro Members

I wrote to the ticket office to say that given away members with previous EL attendance were being prioritised, why weren't ST holders and Pro members being done the same way. I swapped 5-6 emails with "Billy" but of course (which I knew from the outset) they defended it. Reading between the lines, he seemed to be saying no chance it even gets to the Pro Members anyway, so what's the point setting up the admin of it.

So I thought what I'd do is regularly check the site for resale tickets. Feeling if I was doing that enough I might get lucky. But I realised the following day that I wasn't eligible for resale tickets for some reason, so wrote to ask why.

Billy wrote back to say that, as the tickets hadn't reached ST holders, if there were any resale tickets available, they would be made available to ST holders for one hour and only if still unsold at the end of one hour, would re-sales tickets be made available to Pro members.

A couple of days ago, although thinking I'm ok for a ticket now, I decided to take a look, and found that the resale tickets ARE now available to me. Which means at some point in the last week or so, there have been resale tickets for Braga on the site, available to ST holders and higher, that have sat there for at least one hour without anyone buying them. Which I find hard to believe.

What!!!! I was refreshing, checking every day and no resale tickets came up

I'm pretty sure "Billy" is an AI chat bot. No way a real person has the patience to continue engaging in these email discussions.

Bless you. You think we don't add photos and bios to AI bots to make customers who won't stop pestering think they're dealing with a real person?

No way an actual human is continuing to humour this.

He must be a very sophisticated robot too as I have met him
