As you all know, I don't understand art.

So I executed a bathroom manoeuvre. It seems that in the process of that organic production, a column of material has been artfully arranged between the base of the trap, and the bridge over the aperture. Standing proud and true it is of classical proportion, and resists flushing. It is quite thought provoking.

Is this the essence of creation of a piece of art? If I have another shit and knock it down, is this an act of artistic destruction?

Could have gone in things I spend too long thinking about.

Right. So you don't understand art either then.

    Update: It's still lodged there.

Neatly contrasting the relationship between transience and permanence in an increasingly complex modern world where reality and appearance are juxtaposed in ever confusing forms.

Sounds like Tricky needs to check the dosage on his meds.

Funny. That's exactly what I think about most art critics.

And then. As if removed by a grasping property owner, it was cruelly no longer in it's rightful place to enliven the dull existence of everyday folk, and all that is left is a stain that marks its former place.

What a really impressive and thought provoking piece.

Does Tricky know his arts from his arse from his elbow?

I absolutely don't. Funny thing is, ask someone who apparently knows to define it, and you don't get a satisfactory answer.

I know my arts from my arse from my elbow, but I don't know what I like.

So basically it was triple flusher weight with a bit of meat stickiness to it, inhabiting it's slide round the pan. Nothing to see here, move on.

I imagine all those oats, chutney and kippers fusion recipes make for quite a binding turd.

We great artists are used to being oppressed by the philistine masses.

The kids at work tell me there are websites where people frequently post photos of this kind of personal "art" and it can be rated by others 🫣
