Not better than Wembley because Wembley had the Big Day Out vibes, but a better victory because Arsenal are a bit better than Huddersfield.

I thought Worrall was outstanding last night. He was also pleasant to a few members of my family when they crashed the players' post match private celebration at the Parlour. He posed for selfies before politely asking them to leave.

Joe had a tremendous game but was very lucky Jesus has a habit of falling over like a giant sack of spuds because he did pull him back in the box.

The rest of his performance though was absolutely stellar.

Forest without Yates though is like bread without butter. Whilst MGW is dynamic, goal threat makes us tick allowing Barry and Morgan to do their thing.

I love how the fans have embraced the responsibility of getting involved. It has been brilliant.

I would love to go to a home game next season just hope I can get a ticket.

    Chicago: Still glowing.

“My family and I will be indebted to these supporters for ever.” If I was prone to worrying, I might think that sounds something someone who was leaving would say.

Did you hear the full interview? In context it didn't sound like that at all - it was very clearly him expressing his gratitude that even through the most difficult parts of the season the support for him from the fans was unwavering and vociferous.

He also said we can carry on building. Sounded like he was staying to me.

Sounded to me like he thinks without that level of support from the fans he would be unemployed now, I suspect he could be right.

I'm sure someone else might have commented somewhere, but, it occured to me earlier that is the first time we've succeeded in a (proper, season long) Premierleagueship relegation battle. Closest was, I suppose 1997 (and even that hope was but brief before finishing bottom).

Anyway, Leed look done, Everton'll squeak over the line. Again, 2 out 3 isn't bad I s'pose.

    Who said that?

Anyway, just watched the Waka Waka video again during my lunch break.

What a day Saturday was. My phone was blowing up all over the place and I avoided all the messages even though I still had to work.

We watched the game in rapt attention and wifey just couldn’t stand the tension at the end (she didn’t understand Brighton/Soton was way more tense than this) and when the whistle blew it was bourbon and sweet love time. (Sorry Bennington you creepy fcuker).

What a lovely start to the weekend.

    Chicago: Quite relaxed today.

Apart from the writer being an absolute twunt about the City supporter. Fan purity is supremely dickish.
