Whereas Dychey said "game's gone" if it's given, and thought they were referring to our incident when he was asked about the VAR.
The BBC report starts with the Aina penalty and doesn't mention our one - which is not shown in the BBC highlights either. There's your bias.
It was more Lucy Ward. I wouldn’t say she was biased against us, just over egging the Arsenal goal threat.
As for Fletcher, he was never a Forest fan. He was even involved at Notts with Alan Hardy. But since promotion seems to insinuate he’s Forest. All very odd.
I've a feeling that the Aina 'penalty' gets given a couple of years ago* in the early days of VAR where the freeze frame would've shown a 'black and white' incident of arm to ball. I'd like to think that Anderson piling into Aina from behind gave some context. But maybe I'm giving VAR officials too much credit.
*Or at Anfield, Old Trafford or St Sportswashers Park at any time. Conspiracy, obvs...
Lucy Ward is a Leeds fan but she does have a connection to us via the Chairman who took her case for wrongful dismissal from her role in the Leeds academy.
I think she's a really good pundit to be honest, I think she's positive about Forest but not biased. I sat next to her once when we played Leeds, quite a few years ago now in the Championship days, and it made for a really interesting conversation through the game.
I tell you what. For me, she isn't Ally McCoist. Don't get me wrong, Do. Not. Get. Me. Wrong. But can she do better? That's what we're all asking right now. She's GOT to do better.
Etc...
It was very close and they sped through VAR as quick as possible. I was unable to conclusively tell from the short shot they gave us and they moved on, quickly. I’ll accept it was the right call but just think it would have been looked at a lot more closely had it been the other way round.
