Have you heard of PlayStation, Chic?

I have Jim but I want an arcade machine. Always wanted one and would be great for guests when they visit Maywood manor.

Tricky I will look into that. Might be the way to go. Still, happy to talk to Russ’s mental Maga mate. (Only about arcades mind…..)

I have a raspberry pi box loaded up with 1000s of games - mainly 90s console games, SNES, Megadrive, Playstation, PC Engine, Neo Geo, NES, Master System…

It’s ace. Can pick them up on eBay fairly cheaply, you can also find people that customise them into arcade machine cabinets. Probs what Russ’ mate does.

    Settled on this monster

10,000 games. Arcade custom built. Delivered to the home (although shipping is mightily expensive). Three year warranty. Light guns. Track Ball. Joysticks.

All the classics. Golden Tee, Sonic the Hedgehog, Street FIghter, Space Invaders, Asteroids, Pac Man, Donkey Kong, Galaga and multitudes of other games. Including the Judge Dredd game which I forgot about. Sweeeeeeet.

    Chicago: Game room guy.

PS. Russ forgot to ask his Maga Mate so I didn't have the pleasure of having to chat about conspiracies and rubbish gaming consoles. (Although he may have been an expert...)

I actually didn't forget to ask him. I may have forgotten to follow up with one of you though.... oops.

Muthafucking monster machine was delivered today.

The problem being my wife was asleep because the delivery was meant to be between 9 and 4 abd it came at 7:45. Luckily I was called and I rallied the neighbours to bang on the door.

The monster which weighs over 100 kilos has been deposited in the back yard door and we need some big burly men to take it up 4 flights of stairs to the attic. Trying to get insured big blokes should have been easy but we couldn’t book it in advance because we didn’t know when said arcade machine was being delivered.

First world problems I know but it’s a beauty. Let’s hope nobody drops it when they attempt to get it out of the cold and into the roof.

Working all day so I cannot help but I have faith that we will chuck enough money at it to make it worthwhile for somebody.

First an infra red sauna medical device, then a grill and outdoor fire pit, an outdoor pizza oven a cold water plunge tub and now the arcade machine to go in the games room. Anything else we may have missed for Maywood Manor?

Oh yeah, the ability to pay back a ridiculous amount of money on 15 month interest free credit cards. Oh the price of freedom!

I will let everyone know if the fucking thing works by tomorrow.

    Chicago: Selling my kidneys.
